Chip carving is the oldest form of decorative carving. It is written that "Chip carving belongs to the childhood of the world. Today chip carving is not only my passion, but also my profession.

It's the creative process that I enjoy! I am continually challenged with drawing and carving designs, creating warm wood tones on the white Linden wood used in my pieces, then finally painting and finishing. I truly love creating pieces that will be appreciated and treasured by others. I authored 3 books on chip carving through Schiffer publishers.

I have judged the "International chip carving competition," written many how-to articles, taught on cruises and won numerous awards. I have created pieces for famous people and world dignitaries yet, I consider myself a humble carver.

All this came to me only because I have the heart of a craftsman. I strive to do my best on every piece! We fell in love with the Park, the people and the fine craftsmen. Today the craftsmen spirit remains strong. Through conversation and collaboration we inspire one another. I feel honored to be a part of this talented community. Together we create mantels, chimney surrounds and carousel horses that adorn homes throughout the world.

We create pieces that combine our differing carving skills, and our unique staining, painting and finishing techniques. Together, we create what one could not achieve!
