I bought this along with Gillian McKeith's 'You are what you eat' book when I wanted to change the family diet and start to eat a little more healthily.
I have tried only a couple of the recipes, but I think this is more to do with my family not liking a drastic dietary change rather than the quality of the recipes. Wasn't impressed with the recipes, they seemed just short and bland not necessarily food-wise, but direction-step wise , you could barely discern what the pictures really represented--too many out of focus blurred out backgrounds and some weird unidentifiable close ups..

Having said that, the recipes were probably a little "out there" for the average joe, but I tried a few, and to this day, I still use quinoa and millet in my own doggie food I make!
